Nars radiant Long wear foundation review on medium brown skin

Before I engaged in my newly formed relationship with Nars, I was in a 1 year committed relationship with Fenty beauty Foundation in 420. Our relationship ended, as soon as it stopped adding value to my life as my bottle had finished *sigh* (like how men tend to treat women after they’ve dried us out. But hey, that’s a topic for another day lol).

I love Fenty, but it lacked instant full coverage in my opinion. I do understand the concept of building a layer to your desire, but I found it a bit draining after awhile. Although my small critique, Fenty will be seeing me again soon as I do enjoy the formula.

The Nars Natural Radiant Long wear foundation is available in 30ml glass bottle and comes in 33 shades. The first 16-hour wear from their collection with fruit extracts such as raspberry, apple, and watermelon to help smooth and improve the look of your skin.

“The most beautiful makeup of a woman is passion. But cosmetics are easier to buy.”

Macao - Medium to dark with yellow a undertone.

Macao is a perfect shade for me, the golden yellow undertone compliments my skin beautifully. The texture is creamy rather than liquidy.

Application

I apply Macao with a damp sponge, as I like how it evens the foundation on my face, soaks up excess product & creates a natural finish.

Full coverage

Roomies! I enjoy the lightweight feel of the product, and the medium full coverage it provides with just one pump. I have noticed it providing a glow to certain points of my face too, especially in the sun!

During my first try, I mistakenly put about 3 pumps on my face lol. I’m so used to doing that routine with Fenty due to it‘s buildable qualities that I made that mistake. Yet, I thought it was amazing at first as it didn’t make me look Caky at all. That was until I started becoming a bit too oily after a few hours and hated it *screams*. One full pump is definitely enough, but if you haven’t got a problem with oily skin - you can possibly add on another. I would recommend for daily use to stick with one.

Is it worth it?

Even though it is on the pricey side (£35) , I do believe it to be a must have!

Overall thoughts

I do have oily skin, after a while I do find myself becoming a bit oily, I believe Fenty to have a better oil control. However, a bit of powder solves that problem. Overall, I do enjoy this foundation! I love how one pump provides a full coverage without it being a buildable formula.

You can purchase at Harvey Nichols, John Lewis and Debenhams.

I hope you e enjoyed my review and see you at my next post!
