Laura Mercier Translucent setting powder in shade ‘Honey’ what we all didn’t know we needed

TheBeautyRoom

It’s been awhile but I’m back! So make yourself comfortable and get ready to read an insightful review on Laura Mercier Translucent powder, shade honey. Laura Mercier Cosmetics is owned by a French makeup artist, launched in 1996. Their goal has always been to offer high-quality , natural looking makeup products for all skin tones and types. Now, introducing TLSP shade in Honey, I guess we can all agree they've finally nailed it.

We know of Laura Mercier for it's original Translucent shade perfect for fair to medium skin tones + Translucent Medium Deep ideal for medium-deep to deep skin tones. There's also a Glow version, which features a hint of shimmer. Clearly, the only thing that seemed to be missing was a powder shade for Medium golden or olive complexions. I guess, we can all finally say they've heard our suggestions and took us into consideration.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder in Translucent Honey, launched on 15 September and shook the makeup industry up.

This is what us makeup lovers have all been waiting for, am I right? I’ve been in need of a new setting powder and Laura couldn't have launched this at a better time, THANK YOU GIRL!

TLSP Honey has the same formulae with a warm, yellowy colour to ensure those with medium skin tones can enjoy the same process. Usually, when I think of a yellow powder, I imagine it to be a desert yellow, a hard to blend powder.

But not TLSP.

Application

Applying TLSP is lightweight in general and I'm glad it's the same for Honey.

I use a warm concealer under my eyes and apply the TLSP Honey loose powder to set my concealer. The loose powder doesn't crease, as long as I blend correctly. In the end, it gives me a flawless finish - honestly, I don't know how else to describe it to you guys.

To add, I barely have to blend as much in comparison to other brands with a deep yellow setting powder, I won't shame them today.

So why should you buy TLSP?

Laura Mercier powder is light, smooth and does not cake at all.

It has effective qualities:

- 16 hour wear

- Matte finish

- Weightless texture; and

- True colour wear, as it does not oxidise

TSLP buildable powder, gives you the chance to apply on recurring high shine areas. So far, I’ve noticed it hasn't caused any breakouts + I love how it does not cause any flashbacks or leave any white cast - a big win for me.

Here's pictures of me wearing the powder without any flashback or white cast + wearing @tbrcosmetics gloss in shade Pinkin of you.

Comment below your thoughts darlings.

Thank you for reading Roomies, until next time.
